Mobile Industrial Robots and AndSoft have been granted the SIL Award to the Best Innovation
The last day of the SIL 2019 has hosted the SIL 2019 Awards ceremony to the Best Innovation presented at the Fair. A jury of 14 journalists specialized in logistics, transport, intralogistics and Supply Chain has decided to gran the Award to an intelligent robot, from Mobile Industrial Robots, and an innovative integrated solution for the issuance of the e-CMR, from AndSoft.
Fernando Fandiño Oliver, Director of Mobile Industrial Robots, has received the SIL Award for Best Innovation from the Secretary of State for Commerce, Xiana Méndez. The jury has decided to reward the intelligent robot MiR 1000 of Mobile Industrial Robots for being the most powerful of its robots that can collect, transport and deliver pallets and other heavy loads of up to 1,000 kg automatically through dynamic environments. The MiR1000 is a collaborative, safe and flexible alternative to the potentially dangerous and expensive forklifts in the production plant. It is the world’s first mobile robot with artificial intelligence (AI) that takes robotic navigation to a new level.
For his part, Víctor Vilas, Business Development Manager of AndSoft, has received the SIL Award for Best Innovation for the innovative integrated solution for the emission of e-CMR from the e-TMS system. The e-CMR (the electronic contract for international transport in goods route) is proven to save time, costs and gives greater security and traceability, both for the carrier and the shipper. AndSoft allows the automatic creation from the e-TMS system itself, thanks to the integration with the TransFollow Partner, the sending to the TrackAPP mobility tool and the digital reading (QR Codes) of the carriers and the recipient of the cargo.
Geever, eDelivery Barcelona Award for Best Innovation
eDelivery Barcelona 2019 has also closed its current edition by delivering the exhibition’s Awards for Best Innovation and the Best Startup On this occasion, after the deliberation of a jury made up of 6 journalists specialized in retail and electronic commerce, the Best Innovation Award of the fair has gone to Geever. Pere Roca, Board Member and Managing Director of Districenter and Eduard Coves, Managing Director of Geever, have received the award from the Secretary of State for Commerce, Xiana Méndez. The jury evaluated the disruptive solution in Geever’s last-mile urban distribution that works with a capillary network of proximity micro-warehouses located in adapted parking lots, which facilitate loading and unloading. They are distributed throughout the city and are supplied from the headquarters at night so as not to cause discomfort on the urban road during the day, when there is more traffic. They have smart lockers that allow pickups 24 hours a day. Every day the Geevers, who are people from your same neighborhood, carry out the distribution with a wheelbarrow or scooter from the micro-warehouses to the destination. Thanks to the fact that each micro-warehouse has a radius of action of only 750 meters maximum Geever can offer distribution windows bounded until 22 hours that adapt to all the schedules or, if you prefer, you can pick up the packages in the lockers 24 hours every day.
RePack, Award for the Best eDelivery Barcelona Startup
Lastly, the Best eDelivery Barcelona Startup Award, organized in collaboration with La Salle Technova, has fallen to RePack, a reusable packaging service and a fidelity program for electronic commerce through which delivery packages can be returned easily and conveniently, and then be reused. It is a very specific solution to reduce the waste of packaging in electronic commerce.
